We collect the following information so the service can work:

• Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address and a unique account identifier. We use this to create and secure your account.
• Child profile information.You may add a child's first name and date of birth. We use the date of birth only to show age-appropriate worksheets. This information is provided by you, the adult account holder — not collected from children directly.
• Activity information. We record which worksheets are viewed, printed, completed, saved, and any difficulty or enjoyment ratings you provide, so we can personalize the worksheet feed.
• Purchases. If you buy tokens through the app, Apple processes the payment. We do not receive your card details; we store a transaction reference and your token balance to deliver what you purchased.
• Device & technical information. If you enable notifications, we store a push-notification device token. Our servers also keep standard logs (such as IP address and request times) to operate and secure the service.

• Provide, maintain, and improve the worksheets and the service.
• Personalize and recommend age-appropriate worksheets.
• Process token purchases and maintain your balance.
• Send notifications you have opted into.
• Keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do nottrack you or your child across other companies' apps or websites.

The Sprout is designed for adults to use on behalf of children. We collect a limited amount of information about a child (first name and date of birth) only when an adult account holder chooses to add it, and we use it solely to provide age-appropriate content. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, show them advertising, or use their information for any purpose other than operating the service. You can review, edit, or delete a child's profile at any time from your account. If you believe a child has provided us information without adult involvement, contact us and we will delete it.

We share information only with service providers that help us run The Sprout:

• Sign-in providers (Apple, Google) to authenticate your account.
• Apple to process in-app purchases.
• Cloud hosting and database providers that store data and run the service on our behalf.
• AI content providersthat help generate and select worksheets. When personalizing the feed, we may share limited, non-identifying signals such as a child's age and activity patterns — never names, email addresses, or other directly identifying details.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete a child profile or your account, we delete the associated personal information, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and limit access to it.

• Access, edit, or delete child profiles from within the app or website.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
• Turn notifications on or off in your device settings.
• Delete your account, which removes your associated personal information.

We operate from the United States and may process and store information there. By using The Sprout, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of The Sprout after an update means you accept the revised policy.
